Asbestos removal services

The right route starts with the material and its condition.

LDC can deliver suitable non-licensed asbestos removal as a standalone package or as part of wider soft strip, roof replacement, enabling or demolition works. Common scopes include carefully removing asbestos-cement roofing before a specialist roofer installs the replacement system.

01

Asbestos-cement roofs

Careful removal of suitable asbestos-cement roof sheets, tiles, gutters and rainwater goods without unnecessary breakage, ready for controlled disposal and roof replacement.

02

Floor coverings

Removal of suitable asbestos-containing thermoplastic or vinyl floor tiles and associated firmly bonded materials using the task controls identified by the survey and assessment.

03

Bitumen products

Suitable bitumen roof felt, damp-proofing coatings, mastics and similar firmly bonded products assessed and removed using the correct low-dust method.

04

Gaskets & seals

Suitable gaskets, rope seals, flashings and similar components removed intact wherever practicable as part of maintenance, strip-out or demolition work.

05

Survey-led planning

The asbestos survey, material condition, access, proposed method and likely fibre release are reviewed before the work category and controls are confirmed.

06

Licensed-work support

Where higher-risk or licensable materials are identified, LDC coordinates the work through approved HSE-licensed asbestos-removal contractors.

One coordinated package

From asbestos removal through to the next phase.
